The oven is preheated to 200 degrees C.

Necessary ingredients:

• 400 g of chickpeas
• 1 onion
• 3 cloves of garlic
• 1 bunch of parsley
• 120 ml of water
• 3 tablespoons olive oil
• 2 teaspoons of dried and chopped mint
• salt and black pepper to taste
• sesame for rolling

Method of preparation:

The chickpeas are soaked in water and left overnight (then rinse with cold water). The next day, bring the water to a boil in a saucepan, and add the salt. When it starts to boil, put the soaked chickpeas, put the lid on, and let it simmer until soft (about 1 ½ hours).

Meanwhile, put a little olive oil in the pan, add the finely chopped onion and garlic, and simmer for 2-3 minutes.

The strained boiled chickpeas are passed through a blender, using a little water in which they boiled the grains. Pass the chickpeas in two slices to obtain a fine paste. Add the olive oil, parsley, mint, salt and pepper to the food processor and blend again.

Transfer the pasta obtained to the robot in a large bowl, adding the chopped onion and garlic. Mix the whole composition by hand until smooth. Form medium-sized meatballs, and give them sesame seeds. Place the meatballs obtained in a tray lined with baking paper, greased with a little oil beforehand.

Put the meatball tray in the hot oven for about 35 minutes. You can serve them with salad, puree, rice, sauces, or other dishes.

You can use more greens in season for these meatballs: spinach, dill, etc.
